The Journal of Humanity & Social Justice is looking for four types of articles as following:
Research Articles should be around 4000 to 8000 words (including references) in length (or longer by agreement with the editor). Authors should make clear the policy context, reference only directly relevant literature, adopt an intelligible structure and a lucid style, use rigorous argument and reach strong conclusions. An abstract of not more than 300 words should be included.
Policy and Practice articles is concerned with policy ideas and themes emanating from pressure groups and think tanks, and also provides updates on new developments, issues, legislation and reviews especially with reference to human rights and social justice. Contributions should be around 1500 to 3000 words (including references).
Conceptual Articles provide theoretical analysis, conceptual development, or critical reflection grounded in relevant scholarly literature. These articles do not necessarily present primary empirical data but must offer strong analytical depth, theoretical contribution, and clear positioning within existing academic debates. Authors are expected to develop a coherent conceptual argument, critically engage with key literature, and articulate the implications of the proposed framework for humanity and social justice studies. Manuscripts in this category should generally range between 3000 and 6000 words, including references.
Book Reviews should range from 1500 to 3000 words, including references. Authors must provide a strong and clear justification for why the selected book is important to be discussed in this journal. The review should include a concise overview of the book’s main arguments and place particular emphasis on its contribution to discussions on humanity, human rights, and social justice. Book reviews are expected to offer critical engagement rather than mere summary.
